DGM: Tyki-cat and Allen-Dog

Inevitability strikes hard... Pippin has started to furrify D.Gray-Man now... might name this series 'Dog.Gray-Man' hehe XD

Anyway, this is part of one of my fave scenes in the series, where Tyki picks on a rather defenceless Allen in the Bamboo forests of China, before proceeding to destroy his innocence (not as dodgy as it sounds ), shove a man-eating butterfly in his heart and throw playing cards over him.

Allen-dog's paw is black instead of red because in this scene his arm was degenerating and in a lot of pain from overuse and over-synchronisation. In the manga/anime, this degeneration is shown by giving the arm a flaky, soot-like appearance as if it had been burned, so I transferred that over to doggy-Allen.

You'll also notice Allen-dog's close resenblance to Ed-dog. Just playing on the widely accepted idea that the two characters are very similar in both circunstances and appearance. (Lots of people claim DGM to be like a lesser, almost ripped-off version of FMA. True, FMA pwns it totally, but I still love DGM ^^)

Tyki is one of those overly cute grey cats that always turn on you. I based his design loosly on my auntie's kitty. In my many experiences with cats, the grey ones appear friendly and will run up to you for fuss, but the moment you go to show them affection they claw your hand off. Tyki just seemed to be a little like that as well, being seemingly harmless and a good guy, joking and talking like a gentleman, then going right ahead to suddenly pull your internal organs out of your torso when you start to trust him...
