KH: Pridelands Sora Plushby *Heliotrope-Housecat

HE WAS SO FLUFFY I THOUGHT I WAS GONNA DIIIIIIEEEEEE!!!

Seriously though, Lion!Sora is adorable! Look at his widdle face

Therefore, I had to plush him.

The face pattern is drafted loosely from an existing Simba plushie I had (don't worry - I didn't destroy Simba for the purpose! I used baking parchment, which is flimsy and malleable, and marked out the pieces by laying it against the toy and roughly marking things like darts. Worked quite well! Now I have a Disney lion head pattern - haha! *victory theme*) and the body is wired so it can pose (stands, sits, begs, hooks over things etc.)

He's made of a super-soft brown velvet and a slightly rougher white velour, and his hair and tail tuft are long fur fabric. The eye sockets and inner ears are t-shirting jersey fabric. This works well for painting the eyes as it's nice and smooth

The keyblade was made for my human Sora cloth doll, and is made of pine wood (cut into shape with a coping saw and sanded down really smooth and round), milliput for the 'key' part, and necklace chain. It was then spray painted a few times with metallic paint.

The necklace is also made of necklace chain, and the crown is stiff plastic sheeting cut into shape with scissors and spray painted silver. I buffed it up with a tiny bit of smooth sandpaper to make it look tainted.

The picture of Sora bottom-centre is not mine. It is a screencap I found online to use as comparison (and fill a space!) Credit is where credit's due - he was created by the Square Enix and Disney Interactive design teams. If asked by relevant parties, I'll remove that tiny part of this post and replace it with something else.
