Takashi Natsume Poem
by T-Phoenix
A poor, lonely child,
He saw many strange things,
Like large one-eyed ogres,
Or goblins with wings.
Nobody believed him,
They'd all call him names,
A liar, a fibber,
Not welcome in our games!
Orphaned, parents gone,
His family unwilling,
Passed between relatives,
His childhood unfulfilling.
Then a kind aunt and uncle,
Gladly gave him a home,
And he unsealed a guardian,
So is no longer alone.
Inheriting a book,
From his Grandmother, Reiko,
Yokai flock towards him,
Be they his friend, or his foe.
He'll return them their names,
Or help those in a bind,
And with Nyanko-sensei's help,
He can fight off their kind!

Another anime rhyming couplet, written on a train commute, this time from Natsume's Book of Friends.
I adore that series. Nyanko-sensei is hilarious.
